Problem
The task was to typeset a piece of public domain text into a small chapter book, then to create a French flap cover for that book.
Process
I chose to typeset The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gillman. I typeset the book in Indesign. Alongside with typesetting work I began work on the cover. I didn’t sketch on paper for this project but rather created two different designs using Procreate and another using Photoshop. I chose to use an illustrative cover for this project. I finished this illustration using Procreate and finalized the design in InDesign.
