Problem
The task was to build and design a cereal box. Individually we choose an existing cereal box to measure and recreate. Then we had to decide the audience, branding, style, and contents of the box. An interactive element was also required.
Process
I started this project by measuring out a cereal box then placing those measurements into Illustrator to create a die line. I then sketched out ideas for the design and content of my cereal box. After deciding on a design I took to Procreate to make the illustrative elements. I brought the illustrations and die line into InDesign to finish the layout. I wanted this design to feel fun and exciting, similar to cereals from the 1950’s.
